Privacy Notice

In short

This site sets no cookies, shows no advertising and loads no content from third parties (no external fonts). For anonymous visitor statistics I use a self-hosted, cookie-free counting script (see below). There are no forms and no sign-up.

Hosting

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages: GitHub Inc., 88 Colin P Kelly Jr St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit the site, the host processes data transmitted by your browser in so-called log files: IP address, date and time of the request, requested address, referrer, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, and information about your browser and operating system.

This is necessary to deliver the site and to ensure its stability and security. The legal basis is legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I have no access to these log data myself and do not combine them with other data.

GitHub is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and additionally uses EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Further information: GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Visitor statistics with Umami

To find out which colouring pages are popular, I count page views and clicks on “Download PDF”, “Print” and “PNG” using the open-source software Umami. Umami runs on my own server (umami-wwuskowincn5xs0nx5pucyc0.uds.university), sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not build profiles across websites.

The following is recorded: the page visited, the referring page, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and the country, region and city derived from the IP address. The IP address itself is not stored; returning visits are only recognised through a monthly rotating, irreversible hash. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, nothing is recorded.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in privacy-friendly audience measurement (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The statistics server is connected via Cloudflare (Cloudflare Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA), which processes the connection data as a processor and is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

If you send me an email, I process your details only to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and delete them as soon as they are no longer needed for that purpose.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Arts. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Brandenburg (Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Brandenburg).
